In the 70s, the youngsters of the family helped peel the vegetables and prepare pasties before going to school, and this is now an ongoing family tradition, as we employ staff members from local families of all ages...
Our fresh vegetables are sourced from a collective of local farms within a five-mile radius of Hayle, including A J Thomas. They’re grown in the finest soil and hand-picked for their succulence.
The majority of our freshly butchered meat and prime beef skirt is sourced from Robert Trevarthen through markets or the gate at Cornish farms.
Family millers, Heygates, craft premium grade flour made from wheat sourced through British farms. We use this to form our buttery layers of crisp flaky pastry.
We use free range Cornhill Farm Eggs from Khelland that have silky golden yolks laid by happy Cornish chickens.
