East Quay, Hayle, is the location of Philp's Pasties Headquarters. It's the mother ship at which the whole world (it seems) converges to munch our hot pasties and enjoy a classic Cornish meal on the coast of Cornwall.
We've been in Hayle, making mouthwatering pasties for our customers since 1995 though our business was founded in 1958. We are a family-owned business who put a lot of value into our community and are more than happy to spread our family-oriented spirit around Cornwall to make our customers feel at home.
We always strive to make sure there is a pasty for everyone, making sure each of our visitors leaves satisfied and full with a warm memory of their tiime at our shop.
Our doors are open for you from Mondays to Sundays so if you find yourself in the area, why not come by and try our homemade pasties for yourself?
You may find the large car park gets completely swamped on Fridays and weekends with our queue stretching all down the quayside but don't worry! Our East Quay pasty shop in Hayle is the largest we own so there'll always be a Philp's pasty for you.
Here at Philp's, all of our pasties are freshly baked, with the warm and welcoming smell filling our bakeries each morning.
It's a great way to start the day and it guarantees that you are always served a pasty fresh out of the oven. Every bite of our succulent pasties will warm your stomach in winter and keep you full in summer as you stroll the sunny streets and head down to the beach.
In addition to our freshly homemade Philp's Pasties, we also craft our own rolls and baps, with the warm smell of bread filling our bakeries each morning. They're split and filled using freshly cut local meats, crisp leafy salads, creamy cheese and flavoursome dressings.
Our cakes and confectionery are also made daily with equal love and affection. Some firm favourites include sticky chocolate fudge brownies, traditional saffron buns, sweet oaty flapjacks, rock buns and scones studded with juicy sultanas and raisins, perfect for cream teas.
