We’re not a mass market producer, which means the production processes and quality of our pasties and wholesome bakery goods is never compromised. Ever.

We use premium grade ingredients, the cost of which make it impossible to produce our tasty goods for the wholesale market, which is an ethos we particularly prize.

The P crafted on top of all our beef pasties signifies premium steak but people assume it stands for Philps. We’re happy with that. To us it proves our name is synonymous with a premium product.

Freshly baked every morning

We craft our own rolls and baps, the smell of which fills our bakeries each morning. They’re split and filled using freshly cut local meats, crisp leafy salads, creamy cheese and flavoursome dressings.

Our cakes and confectionery are also made daily with equal love and affection. Some firm favourites include sticky chocolate fudge brownies, traditional saffron buns, sweet oaty flapjacks, rock buns and scones studded with juicy sultanas and raisins, perfect for cream teas.

The mark of a genuine Cornish pasty

As a company we believe the quality of our ingredients is the key to everything we produce, particularly our Cornish pasties. Our Philps pasties are traditionally made in the Cornish way by Cornish folk at our bakeries.
This means we’re recognised and have been accredited by the Cornish Pasty Association.

All of our lush pasty ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible using local farmers and Cornish merchants.
